4 Bible Verses To Pray Over Your Spouse Today

Here are 4 Bible verses to pray over your spouse today.

Hebrews 13:5 “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Dear Father in heaven,  please help my spouse to know that life is not really about money…help my beloved to be free from the love of money because I know it can easily become an idol.  Help them and myself to be content with what we already have and finally, because we know that you God have promised to never leave us or forsake us, even if others do, I pray that my spouse keep their eyes focused on you and make you their priority and to be content with what our family already has and as you have given us your word, we know that you will never leave my loved one and will never forsake them, so please put it in their heart to stay close to you and that they never forsake you, your ways, and your word. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray, amen.

First Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation (Greek “peirasmos” means “experiment, attempt, trial, proving”) has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”

Oh Lord God, here is where we all have one thing in common.  We are all subject to temptations that can lead to sin so I pray that you would keep them from anything that might cause them to fall into sin and we know that you will also make a way out of these situations.   Help my beloved in the trials or tests that he/she might encounter today, knowing that you have promised to provide them a way out of it and to be able to endure it, and for these promises, I thank you and ask in Jesus’ holy name, amen.

Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Great Father in heaven, thank you for your word and your promise to be our refuge and a present help in our times of trouble and so I ask you to be my beloved’s refuge today and their source of strength when they need it today and for being their present help, anytime they encounter problems, I thank you and ask this in the righteous name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Ephesians 6:19 “and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel.”

Righteous Father, please make a way for my spouse to have the confidence to proclaim the good news to someone who needs to hear it today.  I know you are sovereign and so I ask that you provide a divine appointment with my beloved today to encounter someone who needs to hear how they might be saved and to give my spouse the confidence to boldly proclaim the gospel to that one or more persons who have not yet trusted in You for eternal life.  I pray this in the strong name of Jesus Christ, amen.

May God richly bless you,

Pastor Jack Wellman
