4 Reasons I Don’t Believe in Evolution

There are more than four reasons I don’t believe in evolution, but here are four major reasons.

A Lack of Fossil Evidence

There are millions of fossils on or under the earth and hundreds of millions of living and now extinct species, yet there is not one single set of transitional fossils that clearly shows one species evolving into a new species; therefore, a lack of transitional fossils gives me cause to not believe in evolution. The number of fossils that have been collected, documented, and categorized has grown tremendously since Darwin’s day. The number of fossils over the supposed millions and millions of years of species living and dying on earth should leave us with untold numbers (into the billions) to piece together at least one species evolving into another, or at least several transitional fossils showing an actual transition; therefore, there should be millions of transitional fossils to examine. Where are they? Finding an alleged missing link means nothing when the entire chain is missing.

The Impossibility of Life by Blind, Random Chance

The theory that life began when proteins, DNA, and RNA were formed by chance, or at least by chemicals coming together, has never been conclusively proven in any laboratory anywhere at any time (called “abiogenesis”). And that goes for the origination of DNA/RNA. Every single science experiment that has ever been attempted to form life has revealed that amino acids don’t form as readily with any kind of stability. The amino acids that did manage to form during experiments immediately tended to break apart every time. Amino acids come in two forms called right-handed and left-handed amino acids because one is a mirror image of the other. Proteins that contain all left-handed amino acids will connect correctly with the surrounding proteins. However, if a right-handed amino acid is included, the shape of the protein is changed and the protein will not work in a living cell.

The Law of Cause and Effect

The law is that every effect has a greater cause outside of itself. Trace the effect of every cause back and find the greater cause of it. Atheistic origins assert that an atemporal void or quantum flux formed mass-producing particles, forming a dense ball of matter called a ylem that exploded in the Big Bang, forming the precise order of the universe with exact natural laws. But where did it come from? They postulate and basically say that something came from nothing and nothing caused something, contradicting the Law of Cause and Effect. The late Carl Sagan once said that billions of years ago, the universe exploded into being. But wouldn’t it have to be before coming into being and, thus, would have already had to exist?

It Fails to Pass the Scientific Method

Here are the steps to establishing something as true, which is called the Scientific Method:

You make observations.
It must be guided by natural law.
It must be testable against the empirical world.
Its conclusions are tentative and are not necessarily the final word, so it proposes a hypothesis.
There must be design and then performance of an experiment to test the hypothesis.
Analyze your data to determine whether to accept or reject the hypothesis.
If necessary, propose and test a new hypothesis.
It must be falsifiable

Since evolution cannot be shown to be true by experimentation and, in the end, we are left with only a hypothesis, evolution is unable to be validated as factual by using the Scientific Method. In fact, evolution is bad science and even a worse theory or hypothesis.

Conclusion

Why did I have to write this for those who believe in God? We may not see the need for all this, but our children and grandchildren should know these things because the public educators will try to browbeat and belittle them with flimsy theories and placated hypotheses to try and get them to doubt God as Creator. But the fact is, I don’t have enough faith to believe in evolution.
